Jay DeDapper is a founder and Chief Executive Officer of Buzztala, a next-generation video ad network for brands and eCommerce retailers. This is his second startup — he co-founded Zazoom Media Group in 2011 and was Chief Operating Officer there until 2013. Zazoom produces thousands of short topical videos each year for distribution across web channels like YouTube, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Hearst and others. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, DeDapper spent 22 years in television news reporting from around the world and hosting live and taped news-talk shows. DeDapper’s innovative writing and fresh on-camera delivery led to him winning dozens of awards including the national Cronkite Award and ten Emmys. DeDapper earned his Master’s in Journalism from Northwestern University and his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara. He splits his time between a home in the Hudson Valley and dinky apartment in Manhattan.
