Project Description
“The People of Sunset Park” is inspired by the medical staff, hospital administrators, and local residents who have helped make the Sunset Park Family Health Center a vibrant community health center. Seventeen youth artists worked with Yana Dimitrova and Sophia Dawson to bring to life the stories of these individuals who have been so important to the community and the Center. The mural evokes a digital image viewer, with a rolling landscape of Sunset Park serving as background to a series of floating individual portraits.
