Groundswell, Council Member Ritchie Torres, and the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) invite the community to celebrate the work of young artists at this mural dedication. The Summer Leadership Institute artist teams will unveil the third mural completed this year at the site, as part of the year-long “Public Art / Public Housing” Initiative.
 
In partnership with Council Member Ritchie Torres and the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA), Groundswell will create fifteen murals in five housing developments throughout New York City, identified from the Mayor's Action Plan (MAP) for Neighborhood Safety. This initiative is supported with funds from the New York City Council under the leadership of Councilmember Ritchie Torres.
