Groundswell artist Mauricio Trenard designed and fabricated 50 plaques for the entrances to Fifth Avenue Committee housing developments in Brooklyn.
Fun Facts

The Gowanus Canal was constructed in 1848 to facilitate industrial maritime operations in South Brooklyn.

Since its founding in 1978, Fifth Avenue Committee has brought more than $300 million in direct investment for community development in its target neighborhoods.
