As a response to the devastation caused by Superstorm Sandy, Groundswell unveils a series of new murals addressing healing and recovery in four New York City communities among the neighborhoods most affected by the storm.
 
In partnership with Master Artist Swoon, LISC New York City, Astella Development Corporation, Fifth Avenue Committee, Northfield Development Corporation, and Ocean Bay Community Development Corporation, Groundswell youth artists have created a visual narrative that captures the concerns, hopes and overall spirits of these communities.
 
Join us at the Santos White Garden/Lighthouse Mission in celebrating the Coney Island artist team for its hard work, and witness the unveiling of a new public artworks at our mural dedication event.
