As part of a series of five murals created over the next two years, Groundswell will engage local community members in the creation of visible and permanent changes in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Presented in collaboration with the New York City Department of Probation and the Pitkin Avenue BID, this project will highlight Brownsville’s hidden treasures and celebrate the everyday heroes of the neighborhood.
