On Saturday, February 8, Groundswell's youth, artists, staff, board, community partners, and funders came together to learn, teach, brainstorm, and develop new skills and ideas to strengthen Groundswell's practice as we embark on our FY14 - FY17 Strategic Plan.
 
Through presentations, ice breakers, and collaborative art-making activities we reflected on Groundswell's 2013 achievements, worked to further develop Groundswell's Scaffold Up! system of achievement for both youth and community partners, thought about new ways to evaluate and continue to utilize our projects after they are completed, brainstormed social justice topics that are important to us, and committed to being a Groundswell ambassador outside of our normal roles.
 
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Retreat activities. Your ideas, contributions, and support are what create Groundswell's strength and future. We look forward to sythesizing and implementing these great ideas this year.
