This summer, a team of young men tackled the relationship between police and young men of color in "I Just Want To Come Home," a 120-foot-long mural in Bushwick.

Today, teams of youth artists enter a critical moment of their Summer Leadership Institute: they begin the process of fabrication for seven murals across New York City.

A new documentary by EmcArts showcases Groundswell murals and street sign projects created by youth and community members over the course of our two-year Streetwise: Hunts Point initiative. 

The Brownsville resident and high school senior is now working for Groundswell on two simultaneous mural projects in afterschool art apprenticeship programs taking place currently in our Gowanus studio.
