"How can my organization use public art to raise awareness of our mission and create a visual identity for our work?"
"How can a mural help transform a neglected underpass near our school and encourage our students and neighbors to be stewards of shared spaces?"
"How can Groundswell's collaborative process engage our constituents, strengthen their relationship to the community, and encourage them to be ambassadors for positive change?"
These are just some of the questions community-based organizations, schools, and government agencies, come to Groundswell hoping to address.
By bringing these cross-sector community partners together with Groundswell youth and professional artists, we can collectively solve complex problems.
Groundswell's dynamic public art projects leverage the transformative potential of the creative process to make real, lasting change in partnership with a wide variety of organizations that are dedicated to a more just and equitable world.
Check out this video to hear New York City Council Member Brad Lander share his experience as a Groundswell community partner.
As a committed friend, I hope you will consider a tax-deductible, year-end gift to help us continue to create positive change in the coming year at www.groundswellmural.org/give.
