Since 2007, Renaldi has been working on Touching Strangers, a portrait series that intimately poses complete strangers in ways typically reserved for close friends and loved ones. A chromogenic print from this series, Beatrice and Jonathan, is featured in Groundswell's Art Auction.

In an entirely different take on portraiture, artist, birdwatcher, and environmentalist Leila Jeffreys' 'Mrs. Skyring' Gang-gang Cockatoo demands a focus on form, composition, and color. Stark, warm, objective, and celebratory at the same time, her photograph enhances her subject's personality.
