As Groundswell launches the online preview of our Annual Art Auction Benefit, an extraordinary array of artists are helping us celebrate at our hip venue NeueHouse, located near Madison Square Park. 

This summer, a team of talented young men set out to understand the causes and effects of incarceration. We invite you to honor their achievements, as we unveil our summer murals and mark the end of SLI 2014. 

Groundswell's Summer Leadership Institute ended today with a joyful youth banquet, hosted at the Brooklyn Lyceum. While the young people's program may have ended, you can still join us for an upcoming mural dedication.

On Saturday, February 8, Groundswell's youth, artists, staff, board, community partners, and funders came together to learn, teach, brainstorm, and develop new skills and ideas to strengthen Groundswell's practice as we embark on our FY14 - FY17 Strategic Plan.

These days, as the Executive Director of Groundswell, I am all about numbers. But sometimes, you just have to trust the container of the heart to capture the impact of hope.

This fall, Groundswell youth artists are busier than ever during a series of socially engaged public art events.
